Actor Vijay visited Unnikrishan's house and witnessed the fans handing over a token amount of Rs 3 lakhs to the family. Unnikrishnan, a Vijay fan had suffered a fatal mishap atop a giant Vijay cutoff. A collection drive, helmed by All Kerala Vijay Fans Association C Noufeeq, along with others including Rajesh, Shibu, Thameens, Khaja Hassan, Pradeep, Nasaru, Aji, Sabu, Anandhu, et al, was initiated.
Vijay himself is known to have helped out, though keeping the details private and refusing to divulge more about contributing. Members from his Fans Association along with Vijay, visited Vadakkanchery to hand out the token. Earlier, Vijay had sent the family a condolence letter
