AR.MURUGADOSS ABOUT KATHTHI

  A.R.Murugadoss is the man of the moment after the superhit success of Holiday and the first look teaser release of Kaththi. The director is known all around the country and commands a huge fan following on his own. He invariably associates with big superstars and all his movie releases turn out to be events in themselves. In a recent interview, the director spoke in detail about Kaththi and Ilayathalapathy Vijay

 

"The title Kaththi will be justified and will be relevant to the story. We didn't just casually name the movie. 

 

Vijay plays dual roles in the movie - Kathiresan and Jeevanantham. They aren't a father-son pair. Samantha plays a lively character named Ankita.

 

The movie is majorly set in Chennai and isn't a gangster flick as speculated. After a complete story narration to Vijay, he messaged me "Superna". I didn't get such a reaction from him even during Thuppakki. Kaththi is surely a different attempt for Vijay.
